Should museums be free
ReplyDeleteMuseum is good place where you can learn about past history and people have to pay for it .They look at reality and can take many information about the past for example extinct animals and weapons. If we pay we are appreciate the researchers efforts .And children can be close to that. People can spend time learning thing .However, in the past people can not learn that thing . Tourists learn the history of the country they also have a good time for them and can take pictures. Museums always take part of their favorite places . Museums also reserve archaeological artifacts and take care of them.
It seems to me we should visit museum with children to understand what are the takes in school History we learn to avoid the mistakes of others and the industry of the future.

A museum (/mjuˈziːəm/; myoo-zee-um; plural musea or museums) is an institution that cares for (conserves) a collection of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance. Many public museums make these items available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary.[1] The largest museums are located in major cities throughout the world, while thousands of local museums exist in smaller cities, towns and rural areas. Museums have varying aims, ranging from serving researchers and specialists to serving the general public. The goal of serving researchers is increasingly shifting to serving the general public.
ReplyDeleteThere are many types of museums, including art museums, natural history museums, science museums, war museums, and children's museums. Amongst the world's largest and most visited museums are the Louvre in Paris, the National Museum of China in Beijing, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the British Museum in London, the National Gallery in London, and Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
As of the 2010s, the continuing acceleration in the digitization of information, combined with the increasing capacity of digital information storage, is causing the traditional model of museums (i.e. as static bricks-and-mortar "collections of collections" of three-dimensional specimens and artifacts) to expand to include virtual exhibits and high-resolution images of their collections that patrons can peruse, study, and explore from any place with Internet.[citation needed] According to The World Museum Community, there are more than 55,000 museums in 202 countries.[2]
ReplyDeleteShould museums and art galleries be free of charge for the general public, or should a charge, even a voluntary charge, be levied for admittance? Discuss this issue, and give your opinion.
One very complex issue in today’s world is the funding of museums and art galleries. While there is an argument that they should be free to the general public and funded by governments, I also believe that there is also a case for saying that they should charge an entrance fee like other attractions.
Those who argue that museums should be free typically make one of two arguments. The first argument is that institutions like museums are a public service and therefore there should be free access to the man in the street. If, for example, there was a charge only the wealthy could afford to enjoy works of art. The second, and related, argument is that if they did levy a charge fewer people would go to museums. This would be serious as they are educational institutions and standards would fall.
In contrast, there is only one major argument on the other side of the debate. This is that both museums and art galleries need to charge an entrance fee if they are to survive in the modern world. Governments do not have sufficient funds to subsidise all such institutions and there are other priorities for public money. Therefore these galleries and museums need to charge their customers not only to survive but to update their exhibitions and make new purchases. By way of illustration, the Tate Modern in London could not have been founded without revenue from admissions.
My personal position is that there is no clear answer to this question as there are such strong arguments on both sides. Perhaps it is possible for some museums and galleries to charge fees and for others not to. It will depend on the situation of the individual museum or gallery.

Some people think it is important that museums are free. To provide education for children. However, other argue that museums are entertainment, so visitors should be charged to view the collection. This essay arguments in favor up and against charging for museums. I will argue that museums should be free because of their educational valve for children.
ReplyDeleteMuseums are very expensive to build and maintain. It seems to me that the public should help pay for the stuff security and building costs. I think government should pay for museums. The history of our country should be preserved for future generations. The state should keep its treasures safe from the theft and maintained in good condition. To sum up. I believe that museums should be free for children because of their educational value.

I think that museums should be free for young people. They give young people the opportunity to not only enjoy arts but also learn value of culture. Generally, In Japan, most students learn various cultures by only reading textbook at school. However, it's very important for them to understand cultures "directly". By appreciating arts directly, it's possible for students to get something that textbook can't give them. For that reason, I agree that museums should be free

ReplyDeleteSome museums charge admission fees, while others don't. Do you think the advantages of such charges will outweigh the disadvantages?
Advances in technology are quickly changing human hobbies and leisure activities. Visiting historical places is not an exception and most people are losing appeal in such engagements. Therefore, whether museums should charge entry fee is a debatable question. However, it is argued that this will provide financial autonomy and museums will be able to provide more facilities to spectators.
The principal argument against introduction of entry fee is that it will discourage people to visit museums. This is because going to historical places is considered as respecting the local history and culture and regarded as a courtesy. Charging people for visiting places of historical interest will make them competitor of other leisure activities, such as going to the cinema or a concert. As customer choices are influenced with the cost they pay, inception of entry fee will adversely affect people visiting to the historical places. Therefore, there should be no charges on visiting museums.
On the other hand, charging an entry fee will make museums financially independent. In this day and age of recession when everyday governments, especially in Europe, are introducing the austerity measures, museum administration will be able to benefit from revenue generated by the entry fee. Lack of funds is causing governments to cease many public welfare and arts projects. For museums, to become self-reliant will guarantee their survival.
In addition to this, by charging entry fee, administration will be able to provide better facilities for visitors that will attract more people. For instance, installation of air-conditioner in most Asian countries will be a great relief for people visiting museums. Moreover, short excerpts dramatizing the historical significance of objects will encourage people interest. Thus, charging people for visiting museums will help the administration to equip them with better facilities.
In summation, introduction of door fee in museums has better advantages and should be considered by administration.

At the core of the Museum is the permanent exhibit, which allows visitors to experience highlights from President and Mrs. Ford's lives. The exhibit teaches democratic citizenship and allows for quiet reflection. In addition to the permanent exhibits, changing temporary exhibits draw artifacts from Museums all over the country.
ReplyDeleteNot all museum programming revolves around the exhibits; we also offer a wide variety of family-friendly events and lectures on a regular basis; the Museum Store sells items relating to the Ford presidency, other Presidents and First Ladies, and other souvenirs.
The Ford Museum opened to the public in September 1981 and is part of the Presidential libraries system of the National Archives and Records Administration, a Federal agency.

Museums should be free because museums are a great educational fun for young children, but they need shorter visits with more variety and free admission also may make visitors more likely to donate, buy meals and souvenirs inside the museum. For short, entrance fees are a barrier to shorter and more focused visits, which are really the best way to enjoy the museum, for adults, especially for children

ReplyDeleteCollege uniform or not
All colleges should wear uniform I think that all colleges should wear uniform. because colleges they are students there that are aged 16-18 some of them are 15. because there school sent them there and we need to be a role model to them and uniform is a more appropriate way them wearing what ever you want people wear inappropriate clothing which should not be allowed if you agree with me like this. But the universities in the Ertuden campus are uniform like King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dammam and Jubail Industrial University in Jubail.
